Rib Knit (Ribana) Fabric

Rib fabric is a double-knit textile engineered with alternating face and back vertical wales (most commonly 1×1 rib). Both sides of the fabric appear virtually identical. Rib knit is celebrated for its outstanding crosswise elasticity and shape-recovery properties, which ensure garments snap back into form without bagging or slackening.

Technical & Performance Features:

• High Crosswise Stretch & Elasticity: Expands and contracts with body motion while retaining original shape.
• Reversible Surface: Uniform 1×1 rib lines present on both sides.
• Elastane/Lycra Reinforced: Can be enhanced with Lycra for extra recovery and snug contouring.
• Durable & Tear Resistant: Tight double-needle knit prevents fraying and seam distortion.
